The Social Media Today: Its Influence to the Students

The human's ways of socializing and interacting with one another has drastically changed throughout the years; from sending letters and invitations to sending a text message. Along with all the innovations and progress in our technology, comes the new and more convenient infromation; the internet. Socialization and communicating had become easy things to do, thanks to the internet and to the social networking sites. In today's generation, we were born with all the technologies around us. We were born with the social networking sites, from Friendster, to Yahoo, to Facebook, Twitter, and to Instagram. We use these social networking sites to interact, socialize, and communicate with one another; even with our classmates and schoolmates. Social media allows us to get to know everyone around us more; especially the people we see and interact at school. These social media provides us an easy way to communicate, hence the convenience of asking what are the requirements due for tomorrow, and how can it be done. Social media somewhat allows the students to establish bonds with their classmates, hance a healthy class. Social media also allows us to gather information that we need for education purposes, though it has some downsides, with a proper knowledge how to identify a legitimate information from a reliable and legitimate source, social media can help us get through our academic life.
